Site Downtime

Sorry for the downtime from the Eggmen, despite people thinking it was due to alcohol fueled rage, it was in fact due to storage issues from the web host. As you can see all is now well.
Thanks all!
Normal Service has resumed.

At long last, I’m proud to say that the long running issue with Eggmen has been brought to an end and the page once again renders as it should. It appears it was down to some random HTML code in one of the posts which basically cut off the rest of the posts underneath from being displayed in the same manner.
There should be celebrations of cake right now, but suffice to say you’re more likely to enjoy the fruits of James’s labour, talking about Operation “Get behind the darkies” in Resident Evil 5….err….
We’re in trouble aren’t we?
Where are we then?

You may (or probably not) have been wondering where the bloody hell have the eggmen been all this time? After all, we’re missing out on Street Fighter 4’s button mashing to complaining about DRM some more, to the first Fallout 3 DLC being a bit crap. That and the wordpress theme is still broke after all this time. Only way to fix that it appears, is to re-add all the existing content again as newly added entries are presented correctly. If there are any wonder kids out there who know how to sort what we’ve got with re-adding all the old content again, let us know.
Anyway, fear not campers, the chaps here are still technically alive and will be back soon with content aplenty. Well we say that, that’s the hopes, so stay tuned and in the meantime, hum some on-hold music in your head.

Hope you all had a great christmas and are now looking forward to the new year and yet more gaming goodness. Right now, we’re all off on our hols doing various enterprises but fear not, we will be back soon.
In the meantime, just think up some sexy images in your head until we’re back. Or just download the latest Gamers with Jobs Podcast where our friend Duoae wrote a song which ended the podcast on a well deserved high.
Merry Christmas…

I hope all the readers of this site have a horrifically brilliant Christmas holiday as for the rest of you, you, non-readers well….. i hope you get coal.
Merry Christmas from everyone here at Eggmen.co.uk!
Wordpress Theme Strikes again…
Posted by The Lord of Leisure | Filed under Site News
Sorry about the cock up but it appears that our wordpress theme is slightly broke. We’ve got a plumber in at the moment having a look and already it’s cost us £7897 for him to say “don’t like the look of this”
Normal service will be resumed shortly.
Where is Episode 2?

A good question, seeing as only one has appeared here, displaying the Eggmen’s manly prowess at making a mockery of how to talk on a podcast. The truth of the matter is, we’ve all been exceptionally busy to quite a number of things and in due course we will be producing more material for you to feast on, like those lovely grizzly bears do on dead people.
For now though, take heart. We are still alive and we go great with Bacon on Toast.
Even more site news

As you can see, some changes have taken place on the website, including the look of the snazzy new logo type background thing that shows us, for what we really are, people with eggs for heads, though Phil’s head is multi-coloured, which is kind of unfair but there we are, perhaps that shows he is the more creative of us all.
Further updates are to follow, including the very first podcast released on the internet for you all to enjoy, some posts about some of the gaming news out there right now, and of course, some place to park yourself while we destroy the world with our death ray….err…I mean, play with fluffy kittens.

Welcome to the world of tomorrow, or at least a website catering for the gaming public in Europe, expect some designs and extra bits and bobs to be put on at some point by the team.
